Gale force winds, huge waves from the Atlantic Ocean and a massive amount of ‘Quatermass-esque’ spume at Trebarwith Strand on the north Cornwall coast. It was a massive challenge to make this image, virtually impossible to keep the front element of the lens spray free as well as multiple instances of battery, camera and memory card failure due to the bitingly cold wind and moisture, all while trying to stay upright and making sure I didn’t get caught out by a rogue wave.
