The slightest hint of a sunset fades into the horizon during a wet windy evening at Constantine Bay near Padstow on the north Cornwall coast. I have often had people wander into my shots before but this time a Jack Russell terrier tried in vain to pull the piece of driftwood out of the sand at the decisive moment of shutter release, fortunately the receding wave patterns on this image more than made up for my previous frustrations.
