The remains of a beach hut at Milford on Sea that was devastated in the storms of February 14th 2014. Over 100 beach huts of breeze block construction that had stood since the 1960s were severely damaged or destroyed in the St. Valentine’s Day storm and are now being demolished. Most are undecorated inside but this one with stripy pastel walls, bunting and a string of ‘lucky’ stones serves as a sombre reminder that this was once someone’s proudly kept seaside retreat.
